北京时间今天凌晨（当地时间周三上午），美国西岸奥克兰港（Oakland）码头工人突然举行罢工，包括Everport、TraPac、OICT和Howard在内的多个集装箱码头被关闭，码头作业完全停摆！目前供应链出现了重大中断，在通常熙熙攘攘的港口引发了多米诺骨牌效应。
美国时间11月2日下午发给客户的通知：奥克兰码头工会决定罢工，因为劳资合同已经过期，无法启用仲裁机制，码头作业只好全部停止，奥克兰所有码头第一个工班都停了。
罢工发生后，奥克兰港口方面也第一时间发出通知，通知罢工可能带来的影响以及后续安排，内容如下：
As you may or may not have heard,labor decided to picket all terminals in Oakland today. Since there is no contract in place, there is no arbitration mechanism that would put them back to work.
We are waiting until end of the day for any impacts to working the vessels, but the yard has been closed for first shift. we are ordering labor for tonight and fully intend to operate a night gate.
Due to this closure and limited availability to appointments,we have extended LFD' s to Friday on all cargo with the exception of anything already in demurrage.
In addition to day shift,OICT will be open for a full gate Friday night 11/4. We suggest cus.............
